April Thomas

April Thomas is a native Cincinnatian and skilled Human Resources professional, with over 20 years of Talent Scouting & Human Resources expertise; 10 years as an Arts Executive working for a high-profile Symphony Orchestra and Performing Arts Theatre. Serving as Vice President of Human Resources, April both led & championed the challenges surrounding diversity of talent in Arts Leadership.  

With a love of the Arts concurrent with her passion for scouting talent, grooming and growing people to reach their peak success, April is committed to the life-long work of introducing demographics across the board to The Fine Arts. Her specialties on record include talent management, Executive Coaching, creative customized training, organizational development, teambuilding, and change management to name a few. She holds her undergraduate degree from Wilmington College in Business Administration and a Master of Science degree in Management, Human Resources from Indiana Wesleyan University. 

April is an active affiliate of (SHRM) Society of Human Resources Management. Her most important job on record is being a wife and mother of three sons’ in which her life revolves around. In her spare time, April enjoys the pleasure of all Art forms, from Visual to Performing, Meditation & Yoga, date nights with her husband, anything funny (comedy shows) and reprieves away with the ‘girls’.
